It has been a long time since I have the chance to write something on this blog. Many things had happened. I have learnt a lot and hopefully grown as well.
Olympic torch relay
I find it utterly ridiculous to find the runners taking the torch which is suppose to represent peace and good will for the coming Olympics games being made a scapegoat for politics. Poor athletes who will be participating in the Olympics torch relay. What will their family members will think about them. They were like protecting the torch with their lives like the chinese wheelchair bound athlete. Why have the relay when it is no longer representing the message of peace and goodwill. It is like having Christmas party when the attendees were quarrelling and were unhappy amongst those coming to the party. I am not siding any party nor am I saying who is right or wrong. Just disappointed with what ever is happening with the relay run.
University exam
This will be the first time my older daughter is taking an important university exam. I did not know how to react: whether to feel that whatever marks she will be getting will be satisfactory or shall I pray for better results. I think she is capable ot getting better grades but the preparation for her G3 trip to Thailand is taking too much of her attention and time. Hope things will be better after the trip and that she could pay more attentiion to the books and complete the five years university study without any hicups.
High Risk Students:
I had the opportunity to speak to a couple of students from the school we are attached. It is interesting to note that both the student were genuinely happy and motivated to finish the course of their school work and more. I am excited that we are finally making some head way in reaching the people where we are planted. I hope we will have several families that we are in contact and that we will be able to have an impact in their lives. Who know? There might be famous singers or professionals rising out from the students who the world say they are not to value. My plan is to raise a team of church members to do visitation amongst
I am really glad that we are finally doing some work amongst the students. It is my hope to see us touching lives of those who have for four or five years put at our doorstep for us to mould their lives.
Until the next blog…

Thanks for sharing. I didn’t know you were working with some high risk students. I just heard a story of how one girls’ home inmate was led to the Lord. Jesus is the answer for them and he will make their lives very beautiful. Hope your visitation teams will do a great job.
